Tracy Gaytor, AKA ‘Mrs Snorky,’ is a craft artist and felt maker based in Barton-upon-Humber.
Intrigued by the art of felt in all its forms and combinations, Gaytor’s love of felt-making began after an adult education taster session. Years later, she still finds the change from soft fluffy fibres to a firmly formed structure amazing, and she enjoys incorporating her artistic, sewing and DIY skills. Her unique pieces include everything from sculptures, to lamps, to brooches and fuzzy creatures. Gaytor’s background is in science and healthcare, and she believes that crafts are essential to keep people mentally, physically and socially happy. She leads a range of felt workshops, tailored to the attendees needs and abilities.
