Leeds-based artist Beverley Porter’s contemporary ceramics are inspired by the history of ornaments and their display.
Graduating with a degree in Applied Arts from the Batley School of Art and Design (now Kirklees College) in 2009, Porter’s uses clay to explore everything from man’s best friend to old school royal figurines.
Quirky, colourful and kitsch, Porter’s traditional techniques bring retro charm to modern ceramics.
