Artist opportunities

20-21 Visual Arts Centre hosts a diverse programme of exhibitions across all six exhibition spaces and offers a umber of opportunities for regional, national and international artists to exhibit or sell work.

Opportunities to exhibit at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre

20-21 regularly post opportunities to be included in group exhibitions, apply for commissions or other specific projects on artist opportunities listings sites such as a-n, Arts Council England and Axisweb (please note: you may have to subscribe to be able to view opportunities listings on some websites). Please download an application information sheet and form for details of how to submit. We will also list opportunities on this page.

Applying for and exhibition at 20-21

We are open to proposals and applications from working artists or curators of all levels to be included in our exhibitions programme. Proposals are assessed at regular curatorial group meetings in which we discuss the forthcoming programme. Please read the Exhibition Application Information Sheet and download and submit an application form at the bottom of this page.

20-21 OPEN exhibition of contemporary art and sculpture

20-21 OPEN exhibition is our showcase of work by artists from across the Lincolnshire region. Both amateur and professional artists are welcome to apply. Inclusion and the winners of prizes donated by local businesses are selected by independent judges. The next 20-21 OPEN exhibition call-out will be in Autumn 2018. Please visit the 20-21 Open Exhibition of Art and Sculpture page for further information.

20-21 shop

We encourage artist and craft makers from the UK, Europe and particularly from the counties of Lincolnshire to apply to have work stocked in the 20-21 Visual Arts Centre shop. Please see the 20-21 Shop page for further details of how to have your work considered.

Artist workshops

20-21 runs artists-led workshops in conjunction with our exhibition programme or aimed at specific audience groups. We also hold a database of artists, which we are able to distribute in response to enquiries about workshop leaders within the region who are experienced in leading creative activity sessions.

If you are an artist experienced in running creative workshops for adults, children, school groups or groups with special needs, there may be occasional opportunities to run sessions within our workshop programme. Please email your contact details, a brief CV and details of your workshop experience to joy.buckley@northlincs.gov.uk to be placed on our database of workshop artists.
