North Lincolnshire Council is recruiting casual Learning and Development Assistants – Heritage and Arts to join our Inspired Learning Team. The team are responsible for developing and implementing a wide range of projects and programmes to support learning opportunities across North Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join an award winning Arts Council England funded National Portfolio Organisation.
Part of the Council’s Culture and Creative Partnership’s team, Inspired Learning has a remit to provide arts and heritage based formal and informal learning experiences for a diverse range of visitors, including schools, families and community groups. Our main venues are North Lincolnshire Museum, 20-21 Visual Arts Centre and Normanby Hall Country Park, though we deliver services at a wide range of venues throughout North Lincolnshire.
You will be experienced at providing excellent customer service and delivering engaging, interactive workshops to a diverse range of visitors, including schools, families and community groups. Ideally, you will have a teaching qualification and knowledge of the current National Curriculum. Your excellent communication and organisational skills will help you deal with multiple priorities and service demands in a calm and flexible manner.
The post is casual and the role will include weekend and evening work.
Salary: Casual Grade 5: £10.84 per hour plus 10.7% in lieu of annual leave
