Nature’s Clock – Nanna’s Poem

Let’s walk into the countryside and onto the fields,
where cars are aliens and trees are kings.
Let’s sit still for a minute, and let our thoughts dim for a minute.
With only the birds overhead and fresh air in pursuit.
Wind turbines glide in circles – the ones we’re not turning in.
As time is different when you can go by the sun.
Like in the garden you knew what flowers the seasons would bring
And you would name them one by one.
Let’s walk into the countryside and onto the fields,
where the peace of a new day begins.
And with the birds and the trees and the sounds upon the breeze,
we can play a part in.
We can sit still for a minute.
Let our thoughts dim for a minute.
Let’s just be still for a minute,
and be.
