School & College Visits

20-21 offers an education service with creativity and learning at its core, complementing our rich and changing exhibition programme. We welcome all schools, colleges and alternative education groups and offer a wide range of workshops and activities to suit most school requirements.

Booking an education service with 20-21 Visual Arts Centre ensures a unique quality experience that is continually evaluated by pupils and school teachers to guarantee value for money. Our beautiful building with creative and historical architecture, offers a unique venue for your pupils to be inspired and creative.

Tours and Talks

Be they self guided or lead by our trained Learning and Engagement Officer or Learning Assistants, tours and talks are a popular way for school and college groups to experience contemporary art in our gallery spaces.

All tours should be booked through our Learning and Engagement Officer, who can offer guidance in ensuring you get the most out of your visit.

Guided Tour

20-21 lead tours and are developed to guide students through themes, materials and subjects featured in various current exhibitions. If the group is our maximum number of 30, it would be split into two and one would receive the tour while the other carry out an activity, they would then swap over.
Cost: £15

Artist Talk

If you want to enrich your visit with a talk from an exhibiting artist, we can do our best to make a booking for you. Costs are variable so please get in touch with us.

Self Guided Tour

A FREE offer to all groups, without the use of the activity table. We advise booking with us, so we can greet you on arrival.

Our free Self Guided Tour Packs are a popular tool to accompany your exhibition tour. These are available by contacting us on education.2021@northlincs.gov.uk

Risk Assessments are available on request and pre visits are welcomed.

If available it is possible to book the use of the Education Room for lunches at a cost of £15 or self-lead activities that coincide with your visit. This comes at a cost of £10 an hour between 10am and 4pm.
