20-21 offers an arts learning service with creativity at its core, complementing our rich and changing exhibition programme. We welcome all schools, colleges and groups and offer a wide range of workshops and activities to suit most requirements.

Tours and Talks
Whether self guided or led by our Arts and Heritage Learning Team, tours and talks are a popular way for groups to experience contemporary art in our gallery spaces. Visit the gallery for free for a self-guided tour, or book a tour with our team to guide your group through themes, materials and subjects featured in various current exhibitions. We can also arrange a talk from an exhibiting artist to enrich your visit further.
All tours should be booked through our Learning and Engagement Officer, who can offer guidance in ensuring you get the most out of your visit.
Guided Tour
Tours led by 20-21 Visual Arts Centre’s Arts and Heritage Learning Team will guide your group through themes, materials and subjects featured in current exhibitions. Maximum number 30.

Artist Talk
If would like to explore enriching your group’s visit with a talk from an exhibiting artist, please contact the Arts and Heritage Learning Team.
Self Guided Tour
Self guided group tours of 20-21 Visual Arts Centre are free. Please let us know that you are coming, so that we can welcome you on arrival. Self-guided tours do not include the use of the ARTivities table. However this can be arranged for a small fee, if booked in advance.
Education Room Hire
Depending upon availability it is possible to book our Education Room for lunches or for self-led activities to coincide with your visit at a cost of £15 an hour between 10am and 4pm.
For all group visits, Risk Assessments are available on request and pre visits to the gallery by organisers or teaching staff are positively encouraged.
