20-21 Staff group show

12 October – 7 December

It’s always a pleasant surprise to discover the creative talent around us. We all meet people in our everyday lives whose art is a hidden talent, perhaps squeezed into downtime from busy routines.  Here at 20-21 our work is to present new and exciting art and artists to the local community, but many of our staff are artists in their own right who maybe rarely get the chance to shine.

Dark Horses is an exhibition of artworks by staff who work at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre. The show introduces the 20-21 team and explores the pool of creative talent and experience which has been drawn together into the various roles within the gallery: gallery assistants, exhibitions and marketing officers, and management.  And there are more than a few ‘dark horses’ among us.
