Artist Commission: 2025 Alexandra Reinhardt Memorial Award
Artists are invited to apply for the 2025 Alexandra Reinhardt Memorial Award (ARMA), Artist Commission, hosted by 20-21 Visual Arts Centre, worth £4,000. The award funds an artist or artists to undertake work with children and young people over approximately six weeks, the experience will inform the creation of a commissioned artwork accessible to the public.

An outcome of the workshops, led by the artist(s) will be to create a temporary art commission at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre, informed by the participatory/education programme. The commission is to be completed by October 2025, for a launch event in November 2025, after which point, it will tour to other venues taking part in ARMA 2025 including Oriel Davies, Powys, Fabrica, Brighton and Dundee Contemporary Arts.

Other Artist Opportunities
Artist workshops
20-21 runs artist-led workshops in conjunction with our exhibition programme or aimed at specific audience groups. We also hold a database of artists, which we are able to distribute in response to enquiries about workshop leaders within the region who are experienced in leading creative activity sessions.
If you are an artist experienced in running creative workshops for adults, children, school groups or groups with special needs, there may be occasional opportunities to run sessions within our workshop programme. Please email your contact details, a brief CV and details of your workshop experience to 20-21.epd@northlincs.gov.uk to be placed on our database of workshop artists.
20-21 shop
We encourage artist and craft makers from the UK, Europe and particularly from the counties of Lincolnshire to apply to have work stocked in the 20-21 Visual Arts Centre shop. Please see the 20-21 Shop page for further details of how to have your work considered.
