We have only this hut,
Mud walls, reed thatch, frail fire;
Yet sunset skies surround us,
Wrap us in splendour,
Warm us with their flames,
Enrich us with their gold.
Our hearts pierced by sunset shafts,
We sink on greying clouds
Into the soft bed of night.
