Quite Contrary Pottery

Quite Contrary Pottery is run by Jennifer Holtridge from her studio in Caistor. There she designs and creates her collectable contemporary ceramic pieces. She likes work with a narrative and enjoys making use of bold colour and textural contrasts. Her work is sometimes playful and sometimes dark, but always contrary.

In addition to selling through our gallery shop, Jen occasionally leads some of our ceramic workshops at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre.

The shop at 20-21 Visual Arts Centre stocks a range of Quite Contrary Pottery, ranging from incense holders and trinket dishes to larger framed ceramic artworks. Prices range from £4 – £22
